2025 News
Some updates from the group in 2025
-
Julien Gibaud and Frédéric have a preprint on state-space model identifiability. We use spectral density to derive exhaustive summaries allowing to evaluate the intrinsic identifiability of state-space models.
-
André Luis Luza, Didier Alard and Frédéric have a preprint on occupancy models with autocorrelation, inspired by Nouvelle-Aquitaine butterflies. We have been also working on producing large-scale trends, now working on Integrated Species Distribution Models.
-
Frédéric went to Iceland in the spring to do ptarmigan fieldwork with long-term collaborator Olafur K. Nielsen. More on gyrfalcons and ptarmigan soon hopefully.
-
Christie Le Coeur went to visit collaborator Marcel Visser and his long-term great tit study site in the Netherlands. Christie has also been working on density-dependent integrated population models using simulated data.
Conferences of the year
- Julien went to present his work at the Environmental and Ecological Statistics conference in Lancaster.
- Christie and Frédéric went to the Evolutionary Demography annual conference at Pembroke College in Oxford.
